The children in this room are cared for following the guidance given in Education Scotland’s Realising The Ambition: Being Me which recognises the building of relationships, responsive care , respect for each individual child, schemas and the importance of play as being at the heart of good early learning and childcare.

The Adventure Zone has capacity for 13 children between the ages of 2 and 3 years. This is located in our brand new Garden Room which is bright and airy with a large selection of toys and educational resources to stimulate your child’s senses and encourage their creativity, social skills and independence. The room has direct access to its own outdoor play area.

In a typical day, your child will be involved in story, song and circle time; creative experiences such as art, music, construction and gardening; physical activities; socialising with friends whilst eating a healthy snack; jigsaws and educational games. These activities will take place both indoors and outdoors.
